Embrace is coordinating a UMB response to the mass shooting in the Brooklyn community. There are two specific needs that the School of Social work can hopefully help with:
1. Toys for children ages 5-12. Specifically, toys, board games, journals, art materials. Many survivors are scared to leave their homes so they need games, toys and activities they can do inside. We kindly request all donations are new or like new condition. Please email mariel.pfister@ssw.umaryland.edu to coordinate drop off of donations.
2. Donate by clicking here and purchasing items from the registry. All items will be shipped directly to the Brooklyn Homes Community Center.
