Clinical Instructor Lee Westgate, MBA, MSW, presented recently at NASW Maryland's Annual Conference. The title of the presentation was "We are Essential: Lessons Learned, Insights, and Opportunities for Change in the Era of COVID-19".
This well-attended session allowed for opportunities for attendees to exchange personal and professional lessons learned during a time of significant changes marked by the intersection between a pandemic and socio-political change. This session also highlighted the essential nature of Social Work especially at this moment in history.
