Volunteer Child Advocates Needed For Detained Immigrant Children In Baltimore

The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights is looking for Spanish speaking individuals to serve as Volunteer Child Advocates for detained immigrant children in the Baltimore area.

More information:

At the young center we train volunteers to act as Volunteer Child Advocates for detained immigrant children. Volunteers meet regularly with a child in detention to get to know their story and provide accompaniment services. Volunteers then collaborate directly with attorneys and social workers to determine the best interests of the children and to advocate for those interests.
