This Fall, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is recruiting for the Leading for Equity, Anti-Racism, and Diversity (L.E.A.D.) Initiative!


L.E.A.D. is a four-part training and coaching series that focuses on cultivating an anti-racist mindset, promoting equity, and dismantling structural racism and oppression. This is done through modules designed to increase participants' understanding of individual bias, systemic oppression, and concrete action steps to make a change.


We are hosting two Fall cohorts and we want to ensure that we have a diverse and inclusive group of staff and faculty members that are ready to learn and grow together!


This year, the L.E.A.D. Institute will debut a hybrid model. Module 1 will be in person at the Baltimore SSW campus. Modules 2 - 4 will be held virtually. Please check the dates and times below!

  • Cohort 1 Dates: Friday, September 16th, Monday, September 19th, Friday, September 23rd, and Friday, September 30th

  • Cohort 2 Dates: Friday, October 21st, 28th, November 4th and 11th

Sessions will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Coaching will be on the last day, between 9:30 am to 4 pm, and will be broken up into three 90-minute sections that participants can choose from.


To participate, and to receive CEUs, you MUST commit to all four sessions!
