Alex Cosentino-Tich LCSW-C (They/them) is excited to be joining the University of Maryland School of Social Work as the Academic and Career Advisor. Alex is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice, where they received their MSW, with a clinical concentration. Alex continued to work in various mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient mental health centers. Over the course of their career, Alex has focused on providing affirming mental health care to individuals with LGBTQIA+ identities and their families.
In their free time, Alex and their wife, Julia, enjoy going to the arcade, going on walks with their dog Eleanor Mae Ruth, and playing trivia with friends and family.
