The Office of Accountability and Compliance (OAC), in collaboration with the SSW Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI), held a training titled “Speaking Up: How to Report Discrimination and Bias at UMB.”
This training was led by the OAC’s Stephanie Suerth and shared how students, faculty, and staff can report issues of bias and discrimination at UMB. The training also covered how the OAC, and SSW are working collaboratively to utilize restorative practices and trauma informed approaches when responding.
