Social Work Students Named Summit Scholars; Participate in UMB's Global Health Summit

MSW students Lindsey Van Wagner, Brooke Bainum, and Brynn Herrick were named Summit Scholars as part of UMB's 2021 Global Health Summit. After participating in a number of preparatory activities with the support of Dr. Caroline Long (SSW faculty) and Sally Bjornholm (SSW adjunct faculty), Ms. Van Wagner presented the group's work during a panel presentation 5/26/21 on decolonizing global health education. More than 400 individuals from a number of countries connected to this virtual event.
