“Since 2006, I have been a proud member of the UMB community. I am a MSW graduate and truly grateful to be a donor to UMSSW and particularly Promise Heights, where I currently work. This past year has certainly been a struggle for all of us, but it\'s been humbling to see what Promise Heights employees/partners, families, students and volunteers have accomplished for the Upton/Druid Heights neighborhoods in West Baltimore. The staff and community have united to distribute food weekly, help students obtain chrome books and access to the internet to learn virtually, and coordinate social/emotional learning events for students and families. Witnessing the success and sense of community in Promise Heights has made me proud to be a social worker, an alumna, and donor to Promise Heights.”
