Roderick Rose Published in Journal of Child and Family Studies

Assistant professor Roderick Rose and colleagues, including former MSW student Wouhib Tamrat, have a new paper published in Journal of Child and Family Studies that uses event history analysis to examine the rate of antipsychotic medication prescribing in youth with attention deficit hyperactivity and disruptive behavior disorders. Using Medicaid claims data on youth in foster care in a southeastern state, Dr. Rose and colleagues found that youth diagnosed with DBD were four times as likely as those not diagnosed with DBD to be prescribed antispychotic medications.
