Reserve Tickets Now: Webinar featuring Dr. David Satcher (1 CEU)

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, racial unrest, and action for justice and healing — nothing is normal. The “From the Heights” virtual series from Promise Heights will look at the challenges of the moment, offering actionable insights that you can use today.

The first of these free virtual programs is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 3 p.m. David Satcher, MD, PhD — Morehouse School of Medicine professor, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director, former U.S. Surgeon General, and author of “My Quest for Health Equity” — will join Andrea Brown, executive director of the Black Mental Health Association, for a lively discussion about how to best address attitudes toward treatment, the current lack of sufficient Black mental health care practitioners, and what we can do now to address these and other pertinent issues.
