Researchers Looking for Faculty Participants to Share Experiences Coping with the Pandemic

My name is Kyung-Mee Choi and I am an associate professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of St. Francis. Dan Knapp is the visiting professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of St. Francis. We would like to invite you to participate in the study about how you experience psychological distress and how you use coping strategies to deal with distress amid COVID-19.


Your participation in this research is voluntary. Your decision whether or not to participate will not affect your current or future relations with the University of St. Francis. If you decide to participate, you are free to stop participating any time without affecting that relationship.


The survey is online and will take 5-10 minutes to complete. No identifying information about you or your school will be collected. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and your responses will remain completely anonymous and confidential. This study will not ask for your name or any kind of identification information. You may withdraw at any time without consequences of any kind. You are free to refuse to answer questions that you do not want to answer and still be in the study.


There is no compensation of participants. However, by participating in this study, you will be helpful in better understanding how social work faculty experience psychological distress and how they use coping strategies to deal with distress amid COVID-19.
