Recruiting MSW Research Assistant for Community Engaged Project with Refugees in Virginia

Please consider applying to join our research team that is looking at access to higher education for refugees. Applications desired by September 5, 2022 as interviews will begin September 6 (but will continue to accept until the ideal candidate is found).

The Graduate Research Assistant will serve as an important member of the Refugee Access to Higher Education Research collaboration under the supervision of Dr. Negi and Dr. Evans. This research collaboration works to examine the intersection of community service organizations, higher education, and refugee student experience to inform policy and practice that supports displaced individuals in their efforts to access higher education. The graduate research assistant will contribute to the data collection and data analysis.


The student will be expected to of work 8-15 hours per week depending on workflow of the project during both Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. Student will be paid $15 per hour.
