The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, in collaboration with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) held an event titled “Lunch and Learn: Fatphobia and Social Work Practice.”

The event had two panelists that explained the history and research surrounding Anti-Fat bias and its connection to other forms of oppression. They also shared action steps that can help disrupt anti-fat bias and ways to create more inclusive environments in Social Work practice and our school community.
