Professor Jodi Frey, PhD, presented with members of the research team and Man Therapy project leaders on May 27, 2021, her research from her CDC-funded randomized control trial study, Healthy Men Michigan to the US.
Department of Defense, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office. Representatives from all branches of the military attended and the event was organized in partnership with the U.S. Pentagon. The presentation focused on preliminary results about the effectiveness of Man Therapy (www.ManTherapy.org) and innovative, online methods to engage working-age men in mental health and suicide prevention and encourage help-seeking behaviors. Dr. Frey expects publications from this research study to be available later in 2021.
