President's Symposium: Strategic Priorities for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Launched in the summer of 2020, the online course A Brief History of Oppression and Resistance teaches students how “historical and contemporary forms of structural oppression and racism target Black individuals and communities in Baltimore City.” Developed as a required online course for all new social work students, this course focuses on developing future social workers' abilities to confront injustice and raise awareness for Anti-Blackness and discrimination.
