Sarah Clem and Peiyuan Zhang were among ten students across UMB and UMBC to be accepted into the Global Aging: Gerontology in Japan course and awarded scholarships of $2,300 from the UMB Center for Global Engagement. Clem and Zhang will travel to Japan during the month of June 2023 for a two-week immersive experience exploring aging within the socio-cultural context of Japanese society.
