Each year, the PhD Research Practicum Cohort hosts an event in December to showcase what they have learned over the course of their year-long cohort practicum experience. This year, we're taking the event virtual to allow you to hear about the project and engage with these students from wherever you may be.
Please join us on WebEx from 12:30-1:30pm on Thursday, 12/10/2020 for a brief presentation and Q&A for each student's paper. The cohort this year collected survey data from social work educators from a sample of schools from the top 50 ranked social work programs.
The presentations will proceed in the order below on the listed topics:
Integrating Financial and Economic Justice Content into Social Work Education
Just World Beliefs, Advocacy Attitudes, and Intentions among Social Work Educators
Educator Support of Student Social Action, Black Lives Matter, and Multicultural Teaching Competence
Social Empathy: How Social Work Educators Intend to Engage in Social Justice
