PhD Candidate Shawna Murray-Browne delivered Bryn Mawr College's Black History Month Keynote address on February 24th. The event, which was both in person and live-streamed, featured Murray-Browne's powerful lecture: "First, Reclaim Yourself: Lessons in Wellness from the Black Radical Tradition” and was followed by a question and answer session. In her lecture, she drew on her own experiences and the lessons of Black cultural and civic-rights icons Ida B. Wells, Rosa Parks, and Maya Angelou.
