The SSW's Institute for Innovation and Implementation, together with Sheila Pires, a nationally recognized expert in child-serving systems, has launched a new online course: Building Systems of Care.
The course builds on the seminal 2010 print publication, Building Systems of Care, Second Edition, and places systems of care (SOC) within the context of health system reforms, with attention to the integration of SOC practices within Medicaid redesign efforts and child welfare reforms. The course content, developed by SOC experts across family, youth, and other child-serving organizations, provides a comprehensive training on SOC principles, policies, practices, and system design approaches.
