MSW Students Co-Author Qualitative Report on Homelessness During COVID-19

In collaboration with Youth Empowered Society, the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and other community partners, foundation year student Aleah Robinson and advanced year student Onyinye Alheri co-authored a qualitative report which evaluates the impact of an emergency housing intervention on the health and material needs of a population that experiences a high level of structural vulnerability during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It features several actionable policy recommendations that various agencies can take to better serve those experiencing homelessness during this time and beyond.

Also, if you are in Baltimore, please join us this Saturday 11/21 for the March for Housing, organized by Housing Our Neighbors and several co-sponsors. The march will start at 10:30am at the Shot Tower (801 E. Fayette St).
