The NASW Code of Ethics stipulates that social workers should engage in social and political action to build a better world. Careers in public policy are one pathway in which to engage in such actions. Rachel Graber from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Terri Poore from the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence, and Condenica Brade from the National Organization of Sisters of Color Ending Sexual Assault will discuss some of the domestic and sexual violence fields' public policy priorities and prepare students to educate Hill staff about those priorities.
