The School of Social Work is offering an opportunity for students to join the School of Pharmacy in a 1 half day a week rotation held on 4 consecutive Tuesdays beginning October 12, 2021. Students will come to the e-health suite at the School of Pharmacy to engage in an interprofessional experience. Social Work students will be working with Pharmacy Students and instructors to collaborate on cases in an ambulatory care environment. Students will identify strategies to develop individualized treatments plans from both the social work and pharmacy perspectives with an emphasis on telehealth and care coordination. During this rotation students will be will be involved with case discussion, interprofessional consultation and simulated patient care over video. Another rotation will begin on November 16th and others will be offered in the Spring semester.
