Interested in learning more about International Social Work?

ISS-USA is giving a lunch time presentation on Tuesday, September 29th at noon. This presentation is hosted by the Office of Field Education and is open to the entire school community.

International Social Service, USA is the US-based branch of an international child welfare network protecting children and families across borders. ISS-USA staff and current interns will present about the roots and nature of international social work as well as the intersection of social work case management and international child welfare best practices. The presentation will cover how students can get involved in international work with children and families as well as how to cultivate an international perspective in working with diverse populations in the US. The presentation will provide action steps to get involved in international social work and for supporting families with cross-border needs.
