On June 17, the Baltimore City Health Department's Ms. Genae Carney and Mr. Jonathan Gross and UMB SSW's Dr. Laurie Graham presented to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This presentation provided details on key findings and lessons learned from the Supporting our Students project.
Dr. Graham and the SSW's Dr. Kyla Liggett-Creel currently serve as evaluators for this important effort focused on preventing teen dating and youth violence among young people in Baltimore City and engaging in long-term strategic planning to prevent these forms of violence.
