Thanks to the generosity of the Jimmie Swartz Fund, six stipends in the amount of $5,000 each will be awarded to student interns in their advanced year, who are currently placed at agencies serving homeless individuals and families.
To be eligible for consideration, interns must:
have a GPA of 3.0;
placed with an agency that serves or advocates for homeless clients solely;
submit a copy of your resume;
submit an essay (12 point New Roman, single spaced between 2-5 pages) describing your interest in serving homeless clients and learning expectations from the internship; and,
agree to be a panelist for the upcoming Summit for Homeless Service Providers on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the UMB Student Center.

Information received after the deadline will not be considered. Recipients will be notified by October 18, 2021. Stipends will be disbursed in two equal payments (fall and spring semester).
