Greetings from the Office of Field Education! As always, we hope our message finds you in good health and spirits.
We want to thank every student for your patience and resilience during what we know has been a stressful start to the year. We are relieved that nearly all students are in placement and remain hopeful that you are having as good an experience as possible. Please know our door is open and we are here to support you.
Though all things Field Education seem to be settling a bit, it seems things are still constantly in motion. Given this reality, and our efforts to continue to keep pace (if not ahead of things), we would like to invite you to join us for a COVID town hall meeting by Zoom on November 5, 2020 from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm. We very much want to keep you abreast of events and developments in field education as they evolve, including a recent communication from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) extending some of their accommodations for field during COVID. We also very much want to hear more about how field education is unfolding for you so far this year. We want to do our very best to support all efforts for as successful a year as possible.
