Nancy Kusmaul, associate professor at UMBC and colleagues have a new paper published in Social Work in Health Care that explores factors that influence nursing home social workers reporting thriving at work. Using data from the National Nursing Home Social Service Directors Survey (2019), Kusmaul and colleagues found that when social workers feel that their nursing home provides good quality care they are more likely to report thriving at work.
