Professor Bethany Lee was awarded the Dr. Patricia Sokolove Outstanding Mentor Award at the Graduate School's Doctoral Hooding Ceremony on May 17th. Dr. Lee was nominated for the award by several SSW PhD students.
PhD Student's, Yao Wang and Meng-Hsuan Yu presented the award. The recipient is selected by the University Student Government Association and recognizes a faculty member at UMB who has provided outstanding mentoring to students. We are so proud to have Dr. Lee receive this top honor in acknowledgment of her exemplary mentoring and care of UMB students.
