On Tuesday, May 5, The Institute’s Deborah Harburger testified in front of the U.S. Senate for the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs on the issue of Student Loan Debt. Deborah and other colleagues in social work spoke about the impact of student loan debt on their lives and how it undermines the dignity of their work.
