Dean Postmus Published in Human Service Organizations: Management, Leadership & Governance

Dean Judy Postmus, PhD, and colleagues have a new paper published in Human Service Organizations: Management, Leadership & Governance titled "Workers’ Attitudes about Domestic Violence (DV): Does Personal Experience with DV Matter?"

This study finds that personnel hired to work with domestic violence survivors should ideally have social work degrees and/or be provided with the training necessary to recognize the pervasive nature of domestic violence not only within their clients’ lives, but also within their own.
