Crumpton, Roche, Corrigan, And Adams Publish Report On Medical Education And Training In UK

Brazil's Mapping System for Health Education (SIMAPES) has recently published a report entitled "Medical Education and Training in the United Kingdom" authored by adjunct professor David Crumpton, SSW alumni Julia Roche and Larkin Corrigan, and soon to be alumnus Alexandria Adams.

SIMAPES is cooperative platform of Brazil's Ministries of Education and Health intended to improve information and practices in the nation's healthcare system. Crumpton is a senior researcher with SIMAPES.


The UK report is Crumpton, et al.'s second in a series of reports on national approaches to medical education and training. Their first report published in 2021 dealt with the Canadian approach. They are are currently studying Germany and Spain's systems. The research team's comparative policy analysis approach utilizes a systems analysis-based template that Crumpton and Roche developed.
