On April 30, 2023, adjunct faculty member Dr. David Crumpton directed a forum at Chiang Mai University in Thailand entitled, "Governance-Building and Justice-Seeking in Myanmar." In addition to presenting the report recently published by Crumpton's Myanmar Advocacy Research Group (MARG) (co-authored by him and MSW student Priya Bhayana), "Discussions on Governance and Transitional Justice: Evidence from Myanmar Migrants and Refugees in Thailand," the forum offered Myanmar advocates an opportunity to deliberate on future actions that should be taken to plan for a post-military regime future of the nation. The attendees included representatives of international development organizations, Myanmar service agencies, and Myanmar students and scholars at Chiang Mai University.
