This session, hosted by The Institute's Center of Excellence in LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Equity, provides guidance on the types of school policies and strategies that can be implemented to help promote and build an affirming environment for LGBTQ+ young people. Attendees also learn strategies for responding when a student discloses their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and expression (SOGIE). The 45-minute presentation will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A.
