Cosgrove, Rose, and Lee published in JSSWR

The SSW's John Cosgrove, Roderick Rose, and Bethany Lee have co-authored a methods paper with colleagues Scott Huhr and Fred Wulczyn of Chapin Hall, published in the Journal of the Society for Social Work and Research. The paper, titled "Reducing Confounding Bias in Non-Experimental Evaluation: An Application of Empirical Bayes Residuals," advances a novel approach to measuring latent worker selection effects, which can improve causal estimates when evaluating social work programs with observational data.
