Paul Sacco presented with Charon Burda, DNP and Eric Weintraub, MD for the President's Symposium Series. The President’s Symposium and White Paper Project is an interprofessional initiative that engages faculty, staff, and students from all of the University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) schools and academic programs in a yearlong conversation on a topic that is of interest and importance to the University and its community.
In 2022-2023, the topic of the President's Symposium is the Opioid Crisis. In their presentation, Dr. Sacco and colleagues discussed the BHWISE-IOWA interprofessional workforce development project as well as the wider behavioral health workforce crisis.
