Behavioral Health Workforce Integration, Service and Education (BHWISE) are two associated fellowship programs for advanced year Clinical and Clinical/Macro MSW students interested in behavioral health.
BHWISE-Lifespan is designed for students interested in working in integrated behavioral health settings, in high need, high demand areas, including community-based programs addressing trauma and violence.
BHWISE-IOWA is focused on interprofessional substance and opioid use disorder treatment training.
All BHWISE Fellows receive specialized seminars, a focused plan of study, and a $10,000 Stipend.
Eligibility requirements:
• Entering advanced year of field in fall 2021
• Concentration in Clinical or Clinical/Macro, and specialization in Behavioral Health, Children & Families, Health, or Aging
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
