Berlin Co-Editor of the Book - Attachment: The Fundamental Questions

Professor Lisa Berlin, PhD, is the co-editor of the new book Attachment: The Fundamental Questions, a series of 46 essays addressing nine fundamental questions facing the field of attachment theory and research (Guilford Press).

Essays by leading authorities address topics such as what constitutes an attachment relationship, the best ways to measure attachment security, the importance of early attachment relationships for later behavior, and challenges in cross-cultural research. The concluding chapter by the editors delineates points of convergence and divergence among the contributions and distills important implications for future theory and research. The book includes a chapter coauthored by Berlin and Brenda Jones Harden, Alison Richman Professor of Children and Families at the SSW, and Allison West, an alum of the SSW PhD program and current Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University.
