This commentary examines the importance of addressing gender as a critical axis of identity within the Social Work Grand Challenge to ensure healthy development for all youth. This commentary focuses, in particular, on sexual and dating violence prevention among young people and the potential promise of gender transformative, intersectional approaches to violence prevention.
