Are You Providing Behavioral Health Services to LGBTQ+ Youth?

The Institute for Innovation and Implementation's Center of Excellence on LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Equity is offering free AFFIRM training and purveyor-led coaching to agencies providing behavioral health services to LGBTQ+ youth ages 12 through 21.

AFFIRM is a group-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy intervention for improving the behavioral health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people. Through this competitive application process, agencies have the opportunity to bring this manualized, evidence-informed practice to their organization’s LGBTQ+ clients.

Organizations are eligible to apply if they currently provide clinical behavioral health services to children and youth ages 12 through 21 and are able to demonstrate that they have a sufficient number of youth with diverse sexual orientation, gender identity and expression receiving services. Individual therapists are not eligible to apply.
