Alexandra Wimberly and Corey Shdaimah selected as UMB IPACE Fellows

Faculty members Alexandra Wimberly, PhD, and Corey Shdaimah, PhD, were selected as 2021-22 IPACE Fellows. The year-long Fellows Program in Community Engagement includes training and co-learning opportunities for faculty, staff, and community leaders across UMB.


Among the goals of the interprofessional IPACE fellowship is to facilitate the development of long-term, sustainable relationships with community partners that are informed by the “principles of community-academic partnerships and community engagement, the pedagogy of service-learning, the frameworks for social determinants of health, health equity, and social justice, and competencies of interprofessional education.”
