#UMBSOLIDARITY Together Tuesdays

#UMBSOLIDARITY Together Tuesdays. We will spotlight a Black-led non-profit in Baltimore each Tuesday to encourage support, donations, and partnership. This week we spotlight Wisdom Projects, Inc. The mission of Wisdom Projects, Inc. and the Baltimore Wisdom Project (BWP) is to reimagine education and reimagine the world by enhancing the lives of youth and adults with holistic education, intercultural understanding, and anti-oppressive, liberationist thought leadership. Together with Dr. Theodore Richards’ Chicago Wisdom Project, the BWP makes up a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Wisdom Projects, Inc. (Feel free to contact us for supporting information.) The BWP has brought holistic education to over 25 different schools, after-school programs, organizations, and communities in greater Baltimore city. We offer holistic and intercultural principles and practices in schools, in out-of-school time programs, within organizations, and within communities across the greater Baltimore area. The BWP also offers wisdom sharing (professional development, consultation, and skill-sharing) to teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community advocates to uplift and inspire with ideals and strategies for holistic education.
