The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion(DEI) in the School of Social Work is seeking a federal work study (FWS) student to serve as DEI Program Assistant. Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 openings. Eligible students must have been awarded FWS in order to apply. The DEI student assistant will aid the office in cultivating an ant-racist, equitable and inclusive culture by assisting with research, assessment and the planning and implementation of initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist the office in carrying out programs and activities • Assist in marketing and publicity • Research and compile information • Facilitate programs and offer creative input. • Assist with event management • Gather and create content for key documents Only students who have been awarded FWS are eligible to apply. If you do not have an award offered in SURFS, you cannot interview for the position, but please reach out to the Federal Work Study program to inquire about eligibility. Flexible hours available.
