Assistant Professor Laurie Graham, PhD, and colleagues have a new paper published in Trauma, Violence, & Abuse. Title: Explanatory Theories of Intimate Partner Homicide Perpetration: A Systematic Review Theories play a key role in guiding research and practice. This systematic review of 22 theories used to explain why someone might kill an intimate partner underscored the likely importance of addressing gender and factors at all levels of the social ecology in efforts to understand intimate partner homicide perpetration.
