Assistant Professor Laurie Graham and colleagues have a new paper published in Injury Prevention that examined the total contribution of intimate partner violence to violent deaths in North Carolina from 2010-2017.
Using data from the North Carolina Violent Death Reporting System, the interdisciplinary research team found that intimate partner violence contributes to more than 1 in 10 violent deaths (10.3%). More details can be found at http://dx.doi.org/10.1136/injuryprev-2020-043704.
