PhD Student Lauren McCarthy, Professor Bethany Lee and colleagues from the Department of Human Services have a new paper published in Children and Youth Services Review that explores a summer camp for siblings in foster care.
Using data collected from interviews with counselors and former campers, McCarthy and Lee found that the camp had a lasting positive impact for campers' relationships with siblings, peers, and caring adults as well as benefits for the counselors.
