If you are a member of the SSW community (student, staff or Faculty) and are planning or considering an online event this upcoming academic year please reach out to the SSW right away. Events would be something over and above the normal meeting or get togethers one can host already through WebEx or Zoom. We define an event as something for a large, public audience to attend like lectures, panel discussions, webinars, open houses and forums, etc.
Please e-mail the communications office with your plans. It could be something as simple as letting us know you anticipate hosting a lecture in the spring, a voter form in October, or an alumni event with specific needs for breakout rooms. If you already know dates, times and topics, even better. Thank you for helping us find a tool that may best address all of our changing needs!
