Reporting Award for "How the Pugh/UMMS Scandal was Rooted in Privatization and Lax Ethics Rules


The Maryland Delaware DC Press Association has recognized adjunct faculty member Jeff Singer, Mark Reutter, and David Plymer for their reporting in the Baltimore Brew on the roots of the UMMS and Mayoral scandal. This reporting helped lead to the conviction and removal from office of Mayor Catherine Pugh, as well as to the reorganization of the UMMS corporate leadership and Board of Directors.
