Youth REACH Phases 8 and 9 Funded by Maryland

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development has provided nearly $500,000 in funds for Phase 8 and 9 of the SSW's Institute for Innovation and Implementation's Youth REACH efforts.

The purpose of Youth REACH is to continue to support the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development by serving as the coordinating entity for a statewide Youth Count to collect data on youth homelessness across Maryland. The Institute will disseminate findings from the count and collaborate with DHCD and local continuums of care to identify and coordinate implementation of initiatives, events, or other activities to prevent and end youth homelessness in Maryland based on data and lessons learned from the Youth Count. Carrie Gould-Kabler serves as the Youth REACH MD Project Director and Jay Unick, PhD serves as the Lead Evaluator.
