SSW Faculty Asked by Youth Villages to Evaluate the Use of the GuideTree Service

SSW Faculty Bethany Lee and Tony Bonadio have recently been awarded a nearly $37,000 grant from Youth Villages to evaluate the use of the GuideTree service in child and family-serving organizations. The GuideTree service includes a case consultation model and access to an online portal with evidence-based techniques and activities for youth and families. The project will assess the implementation of GuideTree in several pilot sites nationally and assess the impact on staff, organizations, and youth. GuideTree may be a tool to promote the use of evidence-based practice in child and family settings, including public and private child welfare organizations.
