SSW Faculty member Mel Bellin and PhD student Rachel Margolis are part of a National Institute for Health Research project titled "Self-management and Spina Bifida: A systematic review of the literature."
The proposed manuscript will systematically review the (a) development and use of self-management (SM) process and behaviors across the life span, (b) factors related to self-management, (c) development of measures of self-management in SB, both condition-specific and generic measures used with a spina bifida (SB) population, and (d) development and/or outcomes of interventions to improve self-management in SB.
